3/4/2023 0 Comments Fun bridge ceo![]() ![]() ![]() Knowing the quality of care that the team provides allows me to seamlessly transition from each role I participate in, and this allows me to focus on making sure clients are getting their needs met in a safe, supportive, healing environment. I enjoy not only working with one of the most compassionate and dedicated teams of my professional career, but I also enjoy working with clients individually when they need a little extra support. Additionaly, I facilitate the AP program (Accelerated Program for Behavioral Health Professionals). As the Clinical Director, I oversee the day-to-day direct client care staff and the clinical portion of the program - from facilitating staff meetings to filling in when staff take time off. Witnessing firsthand the transformations that take place at TBR (including my own) made the decision to move from Texas to Bowling Green, Kentucky an effortless one. It is this passion that brought me to TBR as the Clinical Director in February 2018. My goal is to not only see clients realize they are survivors, but to watch the transformation that occurs when they begin to thrive. I am passionate about helping others find their voice and speak their truth, so they can set themselves free from whatever has been holding them back from living a full, complete life. I have worked in the behavioral health field since then, starting as an entry level therapist and moving into management as Clinical Director for three separate programs. I have been a therapist since obtaining my degree in 2004. He is married and loves to spend time with his wife, children and two dogs. In recovery since 1986, Butch is also a State Licensed and Nationally Certified Addiction Counselor since 1992. The two wealthiest Americans (according to Forbes magazine), Bill Gates and Warren Buffett, play, and so do many Wall Street CEOs and traders, Congressmen. In 2022, he accepted the role as Executive Director at The Bridge to Recovery. In 2013, he became a member of the Executive Leadership Team as Chief Clinical Officer and moved to Chief Operations officer in 2015. In 2006 Butch was named Regional Outreach Coordinator for Cumberland Heights in Jackson. Butch maintained a private practice specializing in family of origin work with addicted populations and facilitated the Impaired Professionals Group for 12 years with Dr. ![]() Butch additionally developed two pilot addiction programs in the greater West Tennessee area. His career path continued as the Director of The Recovery Unit in Bolivar, TN and The Jackson Area Council on Alcoholism. This makes it harder for smaller companies to stay relevant and competitive, said Jay Foreman CEO of The Bridge. Butch began his counseling career 1989 while working for the state’s first Intensive Outpatient Programs at the Jackson Counseling Center in Jackson, TN. After receiving a bachelor’s degree from Lambuth University in sociology/psychology he went on to receive his MBA from Union University with a focus in Organizational Behavior. The incoming Board of Directors were introduced, and CEO. Butch was born and raised in Jackson Tennessee.
